Looking at buildings along George Street.

-- On first story: "Barnett" - Ironmonger Thomas Barnett.
-- Just right of center of photo:
-- On second story: "Colman's Blue For Laundry Purposes" and "Colman's Starch

-- The 15th century house on the right is on the corner of George and High Streets and
used to have a gallery overhanging the street on this side, but it was removed, as it
was a hazard to coaches turning the corner. The support joists can still be seen in the picture.
