This grave is in the back yard of Baptist Chapel, Hailsham. It is to the right of the John & Susan GURNETT grave and to
the left of the Jason WRATTEN grave.
TEXT:

"Sacred
to the memory of
Sarah,
the beloved wife of
Isaac BAKER,
(of Hailsham.)
Died January 24th, 1881, aged 75.
Blessed are the dead which die in the
Lord."
Asleep in Jesus blessed sleep,
>From which none ever wake to weep,
A calm and undisturbed repose,
Unbroken by the last of foes.
Also of Isaac BAKER,
who died September 5th, 1882,
aged 75 years.
For 44 years deacon of this chapel."

This is the grave of the mother and father of Edwin Isaac BAKER.
